OVERVIEW

Welcome to Science Sheets (“we”, “us” and “our”). We operate this website and store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (together, the “Services”).

Science Sheets is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”), together with any policies referenced here (including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Please read these Terms carefully. They include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

By visiting, interacting with, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

SECTION 1 — ELIGIBILITY, ACCESS AND ACCOUNTS

Adults only. Our Services are intended for adults (for example, teachers, tutors, and parents/guardians). By using the Services, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.

Accounts. To access subscription content and downloads, you must sign in using the account/login method provided (including Shop/Shopify authentication, where applicable). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Accurate information. You agree that any information you provide (including your email and billing details) is accurate, current and complete, and that you have the right to provide it.

No transfer. You must not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to any other person.

SECTION 2 — OUR PRODUCTS (DIGITAL SUBSCRIPTIONS)

Digital-only. All products are digital (PDF worksheets including answers/mark schemes). No physical items are shipped.

What you receive. Your subscription provides access to downloadable PDF resources as described on the product pages and within your account area.

Changes. We may update, improve, replace, or remove resources from time to time, and we may add new resources. Descriptions and availability may change without notice.

Compatibility. You are responsible for ensuring you can open PDF files and print or use them on your devices and software.

SECTION 3 — SUBSCRIPTIONS, BILLING AND RENEWAL

Plans. We currently offer:

  • 3-month subscription (renews every 3 months)
  • Annual subscription (renews yearly)

Auto-renewal. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your subscription will automatically renew and you authorise us to charge your payment method for the next term at the then-current price.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in your account/subscription portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you will retain access until the end of your current paid term.

Reminders. We may send renewal reminders, but you remain responsible for managing your subscription and cancellation timing.

SECTION 4 — PRICES AND TAX

Pricing. Prices are shown on our website and may change at any time. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time of purchase or renewal.

VAT. We are currently not VAT registered, so VAT is not charged (unless stated otherwise in future).

Payment information. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information so we can process transactions and contact you if needed.

SECTION 5 — DIGITAL DELIVERY

Access and downloads. Digital content is delivered electronically. Access is typically provided immediately after successful payment and sign-in.

No shipping. As there is no physical delivery, shipping and delivery timelines do not apply.

Interruptions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, outages, or third-party service issues (including Shopify) may occasionally affect availability.

SECTION 6 — LICENCE (HOW YOU MAY USE OUR RESOURCES)

This section is crucial. You are purchasing a licence to use our resources — not ownership of the content.

Single-user licence. Unless we expressly state otherwise, subscriptions are licensed to one individual (the account holder) only.

Permitted use (allowed)

You may:

  • download and print resources for your own professional use; and
  • use printed copies with your own students/classes; and
  • upload PDFs to your school’s VLE (e.g., Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Moodle) only where:
    • access is restricted to your own students (and, where relevant, their parents/guardians),
    • the content is not publicly accessible, and
    • you do not share editable/source files (PDF only, as provided).

Prohibited use (not allowed)

You must not, and must not allow others to:

  • share files with other teachers/staff members, departments, or schools;
  • upload to shared drives or folders for staff access (e.g., shared Google Drive/OneDrive/SharePoint/Teams channels accessible by staff generally);
  • post or share files or links publicly (websites, social media, forums, Facebook/WhatsApp groups, etc.);
  • resell, redistribute, sublicense, or upload to marketplaces (including TES or similar);
  • remove copyright notices or apply your own branding as if you created the resource;
  • use our resources to create competing products.

Fair use / abuse prevention. To help prevent misuse, we may monitor for unusual activity (for example, excessive downloading patterns or suspicious sharing). We may suspend access while we investigate and/or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

School licences. We do not currently offer a school/department licence at launch. If you need staff-wide use, please contact us at support@sciencesheets.com.
