Refund Policy — Science Sheets

Because Science Sheets provides digital subscriptions to downloadable PDF resources (including answers/mark schemes), our refunds policy is different from physical goods.

1) Digital products and subscriptions (no returns)

All Science Sheets purchases are digital. There are no physical items, so we do not accept returns or exchanges.

As a general rule, we do not offer refunds once:

  • your subscription term has started; and/or
  • you have been given access to the digital content (including the ability to download resources).

This applies to both 3-month and annual subscriptions.

If you are unsure whether Science Sheets is right for you, please use our free samples before purchasing.

2) UK/EU digital content cancellation (important)

Under consumer law, you may normally have a “cooling off” period for online purchases. However, this right can be affected for digital content.

By purchasing a subscription and accessing or downloading Science Sheets resources, you:

  • request immediate access to digital content; and
  • acknowledge that you may lose the right to cancel once supply of the digital content begins (to the extent permitted by law).

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

3) Subscription renewals and cancellations

Our subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You can cancel at any time via your account/subscription portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and you will continue to have access until the end of your current paid term.

We do not refund partially used subscription terms or unused time remaining in a term.

We may send renewal reminders, but you remain responsible for managing cancellation timing.

4) Technical issues (we’ll help)

If you can’t access your account or downloads, or a file appears corrupted, we’ll work with you to fix it.

Please contact us at support@sciencesheets.com and include:

  • the email address used to purchase/sign in
  • a brief description of the issue
  • screenshots (if possible)

Technical support does not guarantee a refund, but we will make reasonable efforts to resolve access or file issues.

5) Exceptions (when we may refund)

We may issue a refund at our discretion where appropriate, for example:

  • you were charged due to a demonstrable technical billing error on our side; or
  • you were unable to access the Services due to a verified platform issue that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time.

Any refunds offered are at our discretion unless required by law.

6) Chargebacks and misuse

If we detect misuse, sharing, or redistribution of our resources in breach of our Terms (for example, uploading to public/shared staff drives or sharing with other teachers), we may suspend or terminate access. In such cases, refunds will not be provided.
